Faster Prometheus metrics for large workspaces

v2.175.9
  • ImprovedThe Prometheus metrics endpoint now reads only the latest result for each monitor, so scrapes stay fast on workspaces with many monitors.

Plan limits after a paused subscription resumes

v2.175.8
  • FixWorkspaces on custom plans now keep their agreed monitor, team and check-frequency limits when a paused subscription resumes.

Content alerts on filtered channels, status page settings and workspace messages

v2.175.7
  • FixAlert channels that only receive selected alert types can now include content, keyword and defacement alerts. Previously a channel with any type filter never received them.
  • FixStatus page settings (name, address, privacy and history) can now be saved on the Free, Solo and Starter plans.
  • FixSuccess and error messages now appear for team invites, member changes, bulk monitor actions, API keys and feedback.

Security and reliability improvements

v2.175.6
  • SecurityEnhanced security hardening.

Faster links from Overview and older bookmarks

v2.175.5
  • ImprovedThe Uptime, Performance, SSL, DNS, Visual and Content shortcuts on Overview now link straight to their monitor view.
  • ImprovedOlder workspace links (such as saved bookmarks to Alerts or AI Insights) now redirect straight to their current page.

Fixed a stacked dialog on the channel upgrade offer

v2.175.2
  • FixTapping a locked alert channel no longer leaves the add-channel dialog open behind the upgrade offer.

Upgrade offer for locked alert channels

v2.175.0
  • ImprovedTapping a Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, or other locked alert channel now shows the upgrade offer for it directly, instead of only a disabled button.

Fixed cut-off guide titles

v2.174.2
  • FixSeveral guides showed a headline that stopped mid-phrase. They now show their full title, and new guides keep theirs whole.

Updated our site guide for AI assistants

v2.174.1
  • FixOur site guide for AI assistants now points to the combined Freshping comparison page.

Combined our Freshping migration content into one page

v2.174.0
  • ImprovedOur two Freshping migration pages are now one page with the full comparison, pricing, and migration steps in one place.

Fixed two broken guide titles

v2.173.2
  • FixTwo guide pages had a cut-off page title in search results. Both now show their full title.

Signup answer kept with Sign in with Apple

v2.173.1
  • FixYour answer to "How did you hear about us?" is now kept when you continue with Apple, as it already was with Google and GitHub.

Signup source question and fuller product comparisons

v2.173.0
  • NewThe signup form asks an optional "How did you hear about us?" question with one choice from a short list, plus a free-text box for anything else. Skipping it changes nothing. If you pick an answer before continuing with Google, GitHub or Apple, it is kept as well.
  • ImprovedEach product comparison now lists where the other product leads and where the two take a different approach, alongside where Visual Sentinel differs, each with the date the details were last checked.
  • ImprovedThe homepage links to every product comparison again.

Clearer buyer guides: UptimeRobot alternatives and website monitoring tools

v2.172.0
  • NewNew guide to UptimeRobot alternatives: HetrixTools, StatusCake, Hyperping, Better Stack, Uptime Kuma and Visual Sentinel compared by entry plan and best fit, with prices read from each vendor's pricing page and a step-by-step switching checklist.
  • ImprovedThe website monitoring tools guide now ranks the main tools by the job they do best and links straight to each comparison.
  • ImprovedThe defacement monitoring guide adds a checklist for evaluating any monitoring service on a page you control, and the website monitoring page explains why checks should run from outside your own hosting.
  • ImprovedOverlapping older articles now point to the one guide that answers each question.

Stricter outage detection on service status pages

v2.171.1
  • ImprovedService status pages now say an outage is detected only when our checks fail from both Europe and the US. A failure from one region is shown on the page as a partial problem but is no longer announced as an outage.
  • ImprovedIf many unrelated services appear to fail from one of our regions at the same moment, we treat it as a problem on our side and do not record it against those services.

Service status pages show our latest checks and recent history

v2.171.0
  • NewFree service status pages (for example "Is Discord down?") now show the result of our own checks from Europe and the US as soon as the page opens, with the time of the last check. Services are checked every few minutes, and "Check again now" still runs a fresh check on demand.
  • NewEach service status page adds a 24-hour and 7-day history of our checks and a list of the outages we detected, with start times and durations.
  • ImprovedWhere a provider publishes an official status feed, its current status and any active incidents appear beside our result, clearly labelled as reported by the provider.
  • ImprovedA service is only shown as down after two checks in a row fail, so a single network blip no longer reads as an outage. Sites that answer automated checks with a bot wall or rate limit now count as reachable.

Solo now covers 10 monitors, and a simpler refund guarantee

v2.170.0
  • ImprovedThe Solo plan now includes 10 uptime monitors (up from 1), at the same $6/month or $54/year price. Visual checks stay on your one site.
  • ImprovedRefunds are simpler: every paid plan now carries a 14-day money-back guarantee from your first payment, no questions asked. After that, cancel any time and keep access until the end of your paid period.

A no-card trial option, and clearer emails when a trial ends

v2.169.0
  • NewThe upgrade prompt shown after your first monitor now offers a choice: try Business free for 7 days with no card, or buy a plan now, or start the existing 10-day trial with a card. Free stays available either way.
  • ImprovedThe no-card trial reminder, end-of-trial, and follow-up emails now say exactly what your account set up during the trial (extra monitors, visual checks, alert channels like Slack or WhatsApp) and give you one link straight to the plan that keeps it, with its price.
  • ImprovedNothing set up during a no-card trial is ever deleted when it ends. Monitors beyond the Free plan are paused, not removed, and turn back on the moment you subscribe.

Accurate plan comparison in the Free-plan email

v2.168.1
  • FixThe plan-comparison email for Free-plan accounts now lists only what Solo genuinely adds over Free.

A clearer look at what paid plans add

v2.168.0
  • NewFree-plan accounts now get one early email, a few days after signup, that plainly lays out what the Solo plan adds over Free (faster checks, more alert channels, and more) with its exact price. Staying on Free is completely fine, and this email only sends once.
