What Is DNS Monitoring?
DNS monitoring records selected public DNS values over time so your team can review when an address, mail route, alias, nameserver, or verification record changes. Visual Sentinel takes a scheduled snapshot every six hours for enabled paid monitors. The first snapshot becomes the baseline; when a later snapshot differs, the system stores the new values and sends the notification channels configured for that plan. This is change evidence, not proof that a change was unauthorized and not a global propagation test.
