About Azure
Microsoft Azure is the second-largest cloud provider, running Virtual Machines, App Service, Functions, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, AKS (Kubernetes), Storage Accounts, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and tight integrations with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. Outages are regional, similar to AWS and GCP, but Entra ID incidents are especially painful because every Microsoft 365 login and most enterprise SSO flows route through it. The Azure Portal (portal.azure.com) occasionally experiences outages independent of the underlying services, meaning customers cannot manage resources even though their workloads run fine. Azure Service Health in the portal is the authoritative per-subscription incident view.
The official Azure status page is at status.azure.com/en-us/status. However, official status pages are often updated manually and can lag behind real outages by minutes or even hours. Independent monitoring catches issues faster.

Why Monitor Azure Independently?
Faster Detection
Official status pages are often updated manually, lagging 5-30 minutes behind actual outages. Visual Sentinel detects issues within 60 seconds automatically.
Instant Alerts
Get notified via WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, or email the moment Azure goes down. No need to manually check status pages.
Multi-Region Verification
We check from EU and US simultaneously. A service might be down in one region but not another, we catch regional outages.
